It all started in 2009 when Tina saw the documentary 'Home'
“In the documentary I was captured by how wonderful our beautiful planet is and how important it is that we take care of it. It inspires me enormously in my own design process.”

After a few years of brainstorming, Tina founded RUG SOLID in 2012
"In the beginning it was just two products, the Cotton Rug and the Leather Rug. That was it. Just me, my dream, some rugs and a little tiny warehouse I would go to every day, to pack rugs.”
Since then, many new designs has been created for the home, all with the same things in common; good quality at a fair price created with respect for the planet.
"It was important to me to be able to offer modern design, in good quality and at a fair price, but without harming our nature. Something I couldn't find myself.”
To Tina, the purpose of RUG SOLID is to show that you can create a better world through design
"One of the things I am most proud of is that through design, we are able to create a better and more sustainable world. We created a tiger rug where we collaborate with Save Wild Tigers and since we started in 2018 the number of wild tigers has increased from 3500 to 4500. I am very positive about the future and I am grateful to all who have supported us and everyone who wants to join this very special journey."
